  • Position Summary:
  • The HR Technology Analyst is responsible for the ongoing support, optimization, and administration of UKG Pro, with a strong emphasis on UKG Workforce Management (WFM).
This role is ideal for a UKG‑experienced analyst who enjoys owning complex WFM configuration, supporting timekeeping and labor workflows, and partnering closely with Payroll, HR, and Operations. This position provides production support, configures and enhances system functionality, manages testing and releases, troubleshoots issues, and translates business needs into effective system solutions. The HR Technology Analyst plays a key role in maximizing the value of UKG across the organization and ensuring HR processes are scalable, efficient, and well‑governed.
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • + Provide day‑to‑day functional and technical support for UKG Pro and UKG WFM, with primary ownership of WFM configuration, timekeeping rules, and pay-impacting workflows.
+ Support and administer UKG WFM modules, including schedules, pay rules, accruals, timecard configurations, and integrations that impact payroll processing. + Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into system enhancements, configuration changes, and process improvements. + Ensure data integrity through regular audits, validation, testing of changes, and monitoring of system outputs. + Manage and execute system updates, configuration changes, and enhancements, including testing, documentation, and end‑user communication. + Analyze HR and payroll data flows to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and improved controls. + Provide reporting and analytics support, including development and maintenance of standard and ad‑hoc reports to support business insights and scorecards. + Serve as a subject matter expert for UKG functionality and best practices, advising stakeholders on efficient and compliant system usage. + Develop and maintain system documentation, job aids, and process guides to support consistency and knowledge transfer. + Provide training and ongoing support to super users and end users to ensure effective adoption and proper system use. + Coordinate with external vendors and internal technical partners to manage integrations, troubleshoot complex issues, and support system upgrades. + Proactively stay informed on UKG releases, enhancements, and HRIS best practices, recommending improvements aligned to organizational needs.
  • Education/Certification:
  • + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
  • + Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting HRIS platforms in a production environment.
+ Demonstrated hands‑on experience supporting UKG Pro (UltiPro) and UKG Workforce Management (Kronos) as an HR Technology or HRIS Analyst. + Strong working knowledge of timekeeping, pay rules, accruals, and payroll‑impacting configurations within UKG WFM. + Working knowledge of Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits Administration processes. + Proven ability to document system configurations, processes, and changes with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Skills:
  • + Advanced proficiency in UKG Workforce Management (WFM) configuration and administration, including timekeeping and labor‑related rules.
+ Strong working knowledge of UKG Pro core HR and downstream impacts to payroll and benefits. + Strong reporting and analytics skills; Cognos BI experience strongly preferred. + Experience administering UKG Recruiting, Onboarding, and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) modules. + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and manipulation. + Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy, auditability, and governance. + Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex, production‑level UKG issues. + Solid understanding of HR technology architecture, system integrations, and downstream impacts (especially payroll). + Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to partner with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. + Ability to work independently while managing priorities across multiple requests and deadlines. + Adaptable to a fast‑moving environment with competing deliverables. + Basic to intermediate project management skills to manage enhancements, upgrades, and cross‑functional initiatives.
