Job Description

As a housing operations technical analyst, you will contribute to a positive university environment through data analytics, data operationalization, and the day-to-day management of housing operations. Reporting to the director of housing operations, this role creates workflows and streamlines processes that enforce policy, best utilizes current systems, and innovates new solutions. Overall, you will manage the operations for more than 8,200 students, 8,900 beds, and 24 buildings across three SCAD locations. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service as you manage student user data in StarRez. For SCAD Savannah students, you will implement room selection, assignments, change requests, and cancellation processes, and enforce the Housing License Agreement. Additional responsibilities include serving as a liaison between residential students and physical resources for work orders; supporting, programming, and testing residence life and housing software platforms; managing the SCADhome help desk on a daily basis; and providing guidance, training, and development to SCADhome staff regarding housing operations processes.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Excellent customer service and user experience skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in software engineering, service design, user experience, data analytics, or business Systems thinking and data analytics background Experience in IT, university housing and residence life, or student affairs using StarRez Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver's license Travel required: 10-20% Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
