Job Description

The Application Administrator serves as a primary administrator and support resource for business applications across the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining application functionality, developing and delivering technical training, producing and managing technical documentation, and assisting users with system-related processes. The role acts as a liaison between Information Services and operational departments to ensure users are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and support necessary to effectively utilize organizational technology. %
OF TIME ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Constant Assist with administration, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise business applications. Manage user access, security roles, and application permissions. Coordinate application updates, testing, and deployment activities. Troubleshoot application issues and escalate complex problems when necessary. Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Assist with implementation of new software solutions and system enhancements. Ensure documentation remains current, accurate, and accessible. (67-100%) 2.Frequent Partner with departments to identify technology training and documentation needs. Assist with process improvement initiatives involving technology solutions. Gather user feedback and communicate enhancement recommendations. Support organizational change-management efforts related to technology adoption. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 application support. Lead development and maintenance of organizational technical documentation standards. Create and maintain user guides, process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles. (34-66%) 3.Occasional Develop and deliver technical training programs for staff. Create onboarding materials and technology orientation content for new employees. Conduct individual and group training sessions. Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials as systems evolve. Serve as a subject matter resource for application usage and best practices. Assist with reporting, data validation, and system testing activities. (10-33%)

Ability to manage multiple priorities across departments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of experience supporting software applications, technical training, technical writing, or related technology functions. Familiarity with enterprise software systems and user support practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with ERP, CRM, SIS, or other business-critical applications. Experience creating technical documentation and standard operating procedures. Experience delivering end-user training programs. Knowledge of user access management and security principles. Experience with knowledge base platforms and learning management systems.
