full-time Technology Analyst - Analytics & Automation Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote Contract-to-Hire Are you early in your tax career but finding yourself more interested in technology, automation, and improving how tax work gets done ? This could be the opportunity to take your tax experience in a different direction. We're looking for a T echnology Analyst who has a foundation in tax and wants to build a career focused on Technology, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled process improvement . You don't need to come from a specific area of tax. We're interested in candidates who understand tax processes and have hands-on experience using technology to make work more efficient. What You'll Do You'll partner with Finance and Tax teams to identify opportunities to improve reporting, automate manual processes, and make better use of financial and tax data.

Your work will include:

Building dashboards and analytics in Power BI Automating tax and finance processes using Power Automate Transforming and preparing data using Power Query Identifying manual or repetitive processes that can be streamlined Supporting reporting and analysis across financial and ERP systems Exploring ways AI and Microsoft Copilot can improve Tax and Finance workflows Partnering with Tax and Finance stakeholders to understand business problems and develop solutions Managing smaller technology and process-improvement initiatives from idea through implementation Learning and expanding your skills across Tax Technology, analytics, automation, and AI What We're Looking For Approximately 2-3 years of professional tax experience Tax experience can come from public accounting, corporate tax, consulting, or another tax environment Hands-on experience with: Power BI Power Automate Power Query Strong Excel and data analysis skills An interest in using technology to improve Tax and Finance processes Ability to understand a business process, identify inefficiencies, and think about how it could be improved Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Experience with Alteryx, Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI tools, ERP/financial systems, or Visual Studio Code is a plus, but we're most interested in someone with the right combination of tax experience, core Microsoft technology skills, and a desire to grow in Tax Technology .
