Full Time Position Overview As a Finance Analyst, you will support multiple projects in accounting and finance-related functions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to operations managers and executive management. This position requires strong analytical skills, a relentless ambition for continuous improvement, and polished technical and soft skills. District Overview Kiewit's Industrial and Water Engineering Group has the ability and the responsibility to greatly influence the successful outcome of our projects. Our team is multi-faceted, with best-in-class technical expertise focused on EPC and design-build delivery of industrial projects in markets such as Food & Beverage, Mineral Processing, Renewable Fuels, Pulp and Paper, Steel & Aluminum, Industrial Buildings, and Industrial Energy, Water and Utilities. Location This position is based out of our Itasca, IL office. Work schedule is onsite M - F. Responsibilities
  • Leads project forecast reviews, utilizes historical and trending data to validate forecast, and follows Company standards for cost and revenue reporting
  • Supports Operations team with decision making by identifying, quantifying, and communicating financial risks and opportunities
  • Manages employee performance using the division of responsibilities, clearly communicates expectations and goals, and provides coaching and radically honest feedback during employee performance reviews
  • Responsible for the client invoicing process and applying the contractual terms set forth in the preparation, review, and communicate to internal and/or external partners
  • Follows and implements proper internal controls, and acts as main point of contact for any internal or external financial audits
  • Drives continuous improvement throughout the organization and is a proponent for positive change
  • Earns trust, credibility, and buy in of processes from Operations team to create better cohesion and clear communication within the organization
  • Displays first-rate customer service skills - willing to help with a positive attitude when/where needed, and be helped with gratitude Qualifications 5-8 years business administration, accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax Experience in the Engineering, Consulting or Professional Services industry preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, and/or an equivalent degree Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel Effective communication (both oral and written), organization and interpersonal skills Strong work ethic and eagerness to produce high-quality results Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team High level of professionalism and standards #LI-MM1

Base Compensation:
