Job Description

By Light Professional IT Services LLC readies warfighters and federal agencies with technology and systems engineered to connect, protect, and prepare individuals and teams for whatever comes next. Headquartered in McLean, VA, By Light supports defense, civilian, and commercial IT customers worldwide. Responsibilities Support administration and maintenance of computer systems and network infrastructure. Assist with Windows Enterprise and Linux server administration and support. Support cloud, physical, and virtual infrastructure environments. Monitor infrastructure performance and operational readiness. Support virtualization platforms including VMware, KVM, and Xen. Assist with troubleshooting system, hardware, software, and network issues. Identify vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation recommendations. Maintain technical documentation and operational records. Coordinate with internal teams to support operational requirements. Required Experience/Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent experience. Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT I requirements. Minimum 1 year of experience working with computer systems, information technology, or networking. Experience with Windows Enterprise and Linux server administration. Knowledge of network vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies. Experience supporting cloud, physical, and virtual infrastructure environments. Experience with hypervisors including VMware, KVM, and Xen. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Special Requirements/Security Clearance Secret clearance required
