Essential Functions & Responsibilities Intern, IT Security Analyst This internship opportunity with Arcwood Environmental is a 12-week program where you will be immersed in your assigned department, gaining real, hands-on experience and participating in events with the intern cohort. The Intern, IT Security Analyst will assist the IT and Cybersecurity teams in protecting the Company's network, systems, and data. This role is ideal for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience with security technologies and practices and contributing to the monitoring and improvement of the security posture within an environmentally focused organization. Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times Assists in monitoring and securing the Company's network infrastructure Helps to identify vulnerabilities and threats through security tools and protocols Supports implementation security measures and assists with incident response Assists in the configuration of firewalls, antivirus software, and other security tools Assists with vulnerability assessment reviews and reporting Supports the Arcwood IT Service Desk with security related incidents or tickets Supports the development, implementation, and management of the IT security awareness program Assists in monitoring, evaluating, and responding to end user risky behavior alerts Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization Education•An enrolled, full-time college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science or related field (required)•Overall GPA > 2.7, with a GPA in major >3.0 (required) Benefits, Compensation & Workforce Diversity Arcwood offers stability you can count on and opportunities to grow.
