Technical Consulting Solution Architect The Technical Consulting Solution Architect serves as the primary lead responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing technical solutions across healthcare organizations. Partnering closely with clients, this role evaluates technical requirements, reviews specifications, analyzes workflows, and designs scalable solutions within Netsmart's EHR and care record environments. The Technical Solution Architect translates complex business, state, vendor, and system requirements into effective reporting, configuration, and technical solutions that drive successful client outcomes. Leveraging expertise in SQL, database navigation, reporting, data transformation, and system configuration, this role provides leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle. The Technical Consulting Solution Architect leads client engagements, drives solution design decisions, manages technical project deliverables, and serves as a trusted advisor for troubleshooting and issue resolution. This role balances strong technical aptitude with consulting, communication, and project leadership skills to ensure successful adoption and delivery of Netsmart solutions.
Responsibilities:
Provide expertise during client engagement to deliver workflow and solution design to achieve defined benefits. Responsible for guiding clients through current workflows, upgrades, system changes, enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance while considering other system integration points. Critically assess client workflows and identify opportunities for integration with other solutions and potential pitfalls. Act as a primary consultant for the client's solution troubleshooting, consultation, and knowledge transfer Accountable for relationships with clients to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution knowledge, and engagement support. Proactively seek to resolve escalated problems and issues using solution knowledge and expertise during installation, operation, maintenance, or testing. Manage client expectations and ensure project delivery meets goals of engagement. Coach, mentor and guide solution teams and new associates on recommended methodology practices and roles. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience At least 4 years of health care information technology implementation or consulting working experience At least 1 year of project management experience At least 4 years of hands-on experience working with SQL and relational databases. Demonstrated experience writing and/or optimizing complex SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, troubleshooting, and analysis. Ability to communicate effectively with technical, clinical, and operational teams Ability to document and present architecture concepts, often narrowing complex ideas to a single overview Ability to build strong client relationships and delivering client-centric solutions Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
Preferred:
At least 2 years Netsmart EHR solution work experience Experience with state reporting, custom reporting, data transformation, or vendor reporting requirements. Experience supporting behavioral health, human services, or public sector healthcare environments. Experience with EHR implementation, system configuration, integrations, or reporting workflows. Experience leading client meetings, creating meeting documentation, and managing project timelines.
