As their Technology M&A platform continues to expand, they are seeking a motivated Investment Banking Analyst II to join their New York office. Role Overview The Analyst II will play an integral role in the execution of M&A transactions, strategic advisory assignments, and capital markets engagements across multiple technology subverticals. Working closely with Associates and senior bankers, the Analyst will support deal execution, financial analysis, and client deliverables. This role offers strong deal exposure, technical development, and increasing responsibility within a high‑growth group. Key Responsibilities Support the day‑to‑day execution of buy‑side and sell‑side M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, and process coordination. Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, merger models, operating models). Prepare client materials including CIMs, management presentations, pitch books, and valuation analyses. Conduct industry and company research across technology subverticals (software/SaaS, digital infrastructure, fintech, emerging tech, etc.). Assist in coordinating with legal counsel, accountants, and third‑party advisors throughout transaction processes. Collaborate closely with Associates and senior bankers to ensure high‑quality deliverables under tight deadlines. Qualifications 1-3 years of investment banking experience, ideally within a technology or M&A-focused group. Transaction exposure through internships or full-time roles, with involvement in live deals preferred. Strong financial modeling and valuation skills. Interest in technology sectors such as SaaS, infrastructure, and fintech. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
