Technical Analyst - Investment Operations (Wires Management)

Location:

New York, NY (three days per week in office)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Analyst with strong Investment Operations and Wire Management expertise to support Middle Office and Controllers technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving requirements gathering, solution delivery, testing, implementation, and operational support for critical investment operations platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of payment processing, SWIFT messaging, cash settlements, and middle office workflows within the financial services industry.

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of experience working across full SDLC projects including requirements gathering, functional specifications, testing, and implementation 3+ years of hands-on experience with C#, Python, SQL, and Excel Macros/VBA Strong experience with wire management platforms; IVP Cash Master experience highly preferred Experience with systems supporting: SSI (Standing Settlement Instructions) Wire transfers SWIFT message generation Cash settlements Straight-through processing (STP) Strong knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards including MT1XX, MT2XX, and MT9XX Solid understanding of Investment Operations and Middle Office functions Experience working with financial instruments such as Bank Loans, Bonds, and Derivatives Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business analysis skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated team player with strong ownership mindset
