Job Description

Junior Software Analyst — Robotics & Multi-Sensor Inspection Edge AI Solutions, Inc Homestead, PA Job Details Full-time $50,000 - $55,000 a year 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Computer literacy Firmware Windows Linux Associate's degree Full Job Description Job Overview Edge AI Solutions builds robotic systems that inspect pipes and sewers using video, multiple sensors, and AI. We're hiring a Junior Software Analyst to build the automated QA/QC checks and support tools that keep that technology fast and reliable. You won't be writing our core software — you'll supply the direction, the judgment, and the quality control, using AI coding tools to build quickly. We'll teach you the domain; you bring curiosity, technical common sense, and the ability to work with people. This is a rare on-ramp. If you have an associate's degree, or no degree at all, but you're good with computers, you're the type who figures things out and keeps learning, and you have an eye for detail and a knack for spotting corner cases — we want to talk.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Work independently: This role minimizes micromanagement and trusts your judgment; you own problems end to end.
  • Build automation: Harness AI tools' speed and data-mining power to build automated checks and tools that catch problems and cut manual work.
  • Test against real data: Apply and test your work against real-world data to make sure it holds up.
Troubleshoot:
Spot when something's wrong, slow, or stuck, and work out the fix.
    Ensure Data Accuracy:
Clean and Validate data from multiple sources.
      Communicate:
A quick, well-timed check-in with Upper Management, Service, Client Support, Data Coding, or Engineering keeps you on course and avoids the lost effort.
        Learn:
Have the opportunity to work with real data, make real impact, and gain experience from all types of professionals.
        WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT
        • Comfortable around computers: You've tinkered with code, scripts, hardware, or automation, and you get how things behave (what's fast vs. slow, why things break) even in tools you haven't used.
        • Skeptical by nature: You counter "too good to be true" results, confirm before you trust, and stay pessimistic until it's proven right.
        • Clear communicator: You explain things well across teams and leave behind organized, easy-to-find documentation and intuitive instructions.
        • Proactive with good judgment: Not afraid to suggest or try things, with a good sense of when to just go and when to ask first.
        • Well organized: You can juggle multiple tasks and keep them all moving.
        WHAT WE REQUIRE A
high-school or associate's-level background is all we ask. Our emphasis isn't on coding — the code is secondary; it's everything else that matters. This is your chance to prove yourself.
        NICE TO HAVE
(OPTIONAL) Any Python, SQL, R, or knowledge of other scripting programs, firmware or electronics tinkering, Linux/Windows comfort, robotics, or video experience. Nice to have, never required.
        WHY IT'S WORTH IT
This is a demanding role — and we expect it to be. In return, you'll get:
        • Real mentorship and direct access to some of our best, most experienced people, who'll invest the time to help you succeed.
        • Hands-on work with real robotics and automation.
        • Room to influence direction, run iterative R D, and get into the field to see your work in action.
That's experience that's hard to get anywhere else.
        Pay:
        $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
        Benefits:
401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
        Work Location:
        In person
