IT Sourcing Consultant 3 Location(s): Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
Description:
ON SITE:
Days on site are flexible and based on need. This can be discussed with the manager if an interview is requested, but the candidate should be close enough to drive to the office if needed for occasional meetings. Preference is Richmond area; otherwise no more than a 2-hour drive from Richmond, VA. The IT Sourcing Consultant is needed within the Sourcing and Supplier Management team. The role requires the ability to work independently as the team lead in the development and execution of sourcing strategies for assigned projects, assisting customers in solving IT business problems. This role will lead the sourcing process through creation of solicitation documents, evaluation of proposals, and execution of agreed-upon negotiation strategies with selected suppliers. Responsible for leading evaluation and execution of risk mitigation strategies and establishing solid contracts that are in the long-term best interest of the customer. Manages customer expectations for project deliverables through effective and timely communication. Conducts post-project lessons learned reviews with customers to promote knowledge transfer and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Include:
Managing a variety of sourcing projects, including complex information technology contracts from initial request through executed contract. Ability to multitask and work with all levels of staff.
