Purpose and Job Summary The Reporting Analyst position will provide reporting, data analytics, and Business Intelligence type tasks to support processes within Lument. The team member will be responsible for assisting and maintaining various quality control KPIs and related programs, ensuring that the company maintains compliance with regulatory, and investor guidelines. S/he will work with the Senior Reporting Associate and all groups in the company to optimize use of technology and develop reporting capabilities to assist in identifying process improvements, efficiencies and promote best practices. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the collection and reconciliation of data from various departments and maintain metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to Loan Originations, Underwriting, and other sections of the business as needed. Develop and execute database queries and conduct data analysis. Design, architect, implement and support Microsoft Power
BI & SSRS
solutions and Create visualizations and reports for requested projects. Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting. Work with stakeholders to understand data needs throughout the organization to translate business needs to technical specifications. Assist in data collection and reporting for rating agencies with respect to statistical reporting and annual reviews. Assist in assessments of business units and functions, including vendors performing outsource functions, for accuracy and compliance. Participate in special projects at the direction of the Team lead or Director. Provide regular status updates to manager regarding any outstanding items or deadlines. Develop and update technical documentation. All other duties as assigned. Contacts This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management. In addition, this role may interact with outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and other office visitors. Education, Skills & Experience An Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics or Information Systems. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. 1-3 years' experience with Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, Tableau) 1-3 years' experience of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI) Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Position requires focus and attention to detail. Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative to seek out additional tasks and responsibilities. Ability to work well under pressure, adjust to varied workloads, multitask, and handle sensitive/confidential information.
