Job Description We are seeking a Senior IT Analyst/Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in system software design and development, systems implementation and maintenance, and hardware configuration and support and a proven ability to lead technical initiatives, maintain mission-critical applications, and collaborate across departments and vendors .
Responsibilities:
Evaluate alternative technical approaches and present recommendations to teams and leadership. Review, modify, and update applications to ensure currency and functionality within the established environment. Maintain and support multiple systems or complex software applications and associated hardware across multiple sites. Produce and maintain documentation including system requirements, designs, resource inventories, and plans. Provide technical and project leadership, demonstrate initiative, and work independently to accomplish objectives. Collaborate across departments to gain stakeholder consensus. Interface with vendor and external support teams to ensure proper escalation during outages or degraded performance. Serve as liaison to internal departments and vendors to support computing systems. Engage in virtual collaboration with colleagues across locations to meet responsibilities. Provide 24/7 on-call support as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience working in healthcare technology. Exposure to managing both custom-developed and vendor-supplied applications. Applied system design principles and software development methodologies. Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and projects concurrently. Strong communication, meeting facilitation, and organizational skills with audience-appropriate messaging. Demonstrated project management skills. Objective and positive approach to tasks and projects. Consistent delivery with reliable, repeatable performance. Proactive initiative and ability to work independently. Education and experience as defined in the Education section.
Preferred Skills:
N/A Education:
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience, including one (1) year of demonstrated technical experience. OR Associate's degree and seven (7) years of experience, including one (1) year of demonstrated technical experience.
Preferred:
