Senior Technical Consultant Apogee Engineering Mar 31, 2026 Senior Technical Consultant Location US-GA-Robins AFB ID 2026-1736 Category Finance/Accounting Position Type Regular Full-Time Remote Yes Overview Apogee has an opportunity for a Senior Technical Consultant to provide contractor site reachback support for the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO). This position provides expert-level consulting support for programmatic and technical Studies & Analysis tasks, including Product Support Business Case Analysis. This is a full-time remote position with occasional travel to government sites.
Responsibilities Programmatic Support:
Provide expert consulting on specific programmatic areas Support Studies & Analysis (S&A) task execution Conduct trade studies on acquisition and support strategies Provide recommendations on best practices and approaches
Product Support Business Case Analysis:
Complete Multi-GNSS User Equipment PS-BCA using structured methodology Generate documents that aid decision-making by identifying and comparing alternatives Examine mission and business impacts (financial and non-financial) Conduct risk and sensitivity analyses Develop recommendations and courses of action
Trade Studies:
Conduct trade studies on:
MAGR-2K-M
Resiliency Handheld GPS receiver acquisition approaches Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) MGUE Source of Supply Open Architecture approaches Antenna modernization acquisition strategies
Analysis & Documentation:
Conduct detailed analyses of complex programmatic issues Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations Develop briefings for senior leadership Support decision documentation and rationale
Qualifications Minimum Experience:
Citizenship:
Must be a US citizen
Clearance:
Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance
Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Years of Experience:
20 years of DoD acquisition or technical consulting experience Additional experience: Experience with Product Support and business case analysis In-depth knowledge of
GPS/GNSS
programs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with cost-benefit analysis and decision analysis methodologies Excellent technical writing and presentation skills Ability to work independently and deliver quality products
Preferred Experience:
Education:
Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Years of Experience:
15 years of DoD acquisition or technical consulting experience
