00070447291 About the role As a ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant , you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting complex ServiceNow custom applications that enable business transformation and operational excellence. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow delivery team, collaborating with architects, business stakeholders, developers, and client teams to deliver scalable, innovative solutions aligned with platform best practices. + Design, develop, and support custom applications and solutions on the ServiceNow platform using industry best practices.

+ Configure and customize ServiceNow components including Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, Service Portal, and Workspaces.

+ Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using

REST , SOAP

, Integration Hub, Scripted REST APIs, and related technologies.

+ Create scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while enforcing ServiceNow platform engineering and development standards.

+ Enhance and maintain existing ServiceNow implementations, including upgrades, platform maintenance, and optimization of out-of-the-box capabilities.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

+ Produce and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, test plans, implementation guides, and support documentation. Work model We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. + ServiceNow Certified System Administrator ( CSA ) certification.

+ ServiceNow Certified System Developer ( CSD ) certification.

+ Experience developing and supporting custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.

+ Strong hands-on expertise with JavaScript, JSON payloads, scripting frameworks, and custom development within ServiceNow.

+ Experience implementing integrations with third-party systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, Integration Hub, and related technologies.

+ Experience with ServiceNow components including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Workspaces, Catalog Items, Record Producers, Notifications, Scheduled Jobs, and Script Includes.

+ Experience with MID Servers, data imports/exports, and platform automation capabilities.

+ Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. These will help you stand out

+ Telecommunications or OMT industry experience.

+ Experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions and custom applications.

+ Experience leading development standards and governance initiatives within ServiceNow environments.

+ Exposure to ServiceNow platform upgrades, optimization, and performance tuning.

+ Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership on ServiceNow programs.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applicants will be accepted till 10/15/2026 Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Please note, this role cannot offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $119,000 - $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
