Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in Java/J2EE business applications—focus on debugging, optimization, and system support (not development).
• Utilize AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for code generation, debugging, and performance optimization to deliver rapid, quality solutions.
• Extract and manipulate data using advanced SQL queries for issue analysis, solution development, and test validation.
• Document technical solutions, root cause analyses, and create clear, actionable support documentation.
• Collaborate with business units, end users, and internal technology teams to resolve application and process issues.
• Propose process improvements and system changes, providing alternatives and impact analyses.
• Develop and document test cases to support development and QA teams.
• Escalate complex technical issues appropriately and ensure prompt resolution. Required Skills and Experience
• Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot Java/J2EE applications (debugging and optimization; not development).
• Advanced SQL proficiency for querying, data extraction, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for code review, debugging, and optimization.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with testing processes and creation of test cases. Preferred Skills
• Experience with SQL performance optimization and database structure refinement.
• Background using incident/support ticketing systems and workflow tools.
