Perm - IT - Security Analyst (Days)

We are seeking an IT Security Analyst to support cybersecurity incident response, threat monitoring, and security operations within a large healthcare environment. Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No weekends On-call participation required Responsibilities Monitor networks, infrastructure, and systems for security threats Investigate and validate security incidents Support incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery Review security logs, audit data, and forensic information Assist with security reporting and documentation Support implementation of security controls and compliance initiatives Participate in post-incident reviews and process improvements Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field

REQUIRED

Minimum 1 year of experience in Information Security

REQUIRED

Experience with incident response, threat monitoring, intrusion detection, or cyber intelligence highly preferred Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills required Ability to work in an on-call environment required Preferred Qualifications CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification Experience with SIEM tools, Active Directory, VPNs, IDS/IPS, EDR, Vulnerability Management, DLP, and Cloud Security Experience with Agile methodologies and security audits
