Job Description

Role:
The Workday Software Configurator is responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining Workday modules to support business operations and HR processes. This position partners with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.

Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Finance) based on business requirements, including business processes, security roles, calculated fields, and reporting
  • Work with business partners and stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document requirements for new features, enhancements, and integrations
  • Develop and execute test plans, perform unit and system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for configuration changes and system updates
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to Workday configurations and processes; provide ongoing support for end users
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation on configurations, business processes, and system changes
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance Workday functionality, streamline processes, and improve user experience
  • Develop training materials and provide training to HR teams and end users to ensure effective use of Workday features
  • Ensure configurations adhere to organizational policies, data privacy standards, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with HR, IT, and other relevant teams to support Workday projects, integrations, and system upgrades.
