The Security Analyst will investigate cybersecurity events and incidents, analyze security data, develop and implement security strategies to protect organization information systems and data against malicious intent. This position will also assist in deploying cybersecurity solutions, code evaluation, penetration testing, and risk assessments. Roles and Responsibilities Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events using existing security tools. Performs periodic vulnerability scanning to identify potential security risks, on-prem systems, networks, software, and cloud services. Co-monitors systems and network devices patching cadence to ensure security patches are up to date and patchable vulnerabilities are mitigated. Act as part of the cybersecurity incident response team. Conduct forensic analysis of cyber-attacks to determine the source of the attack and how to prevent similar attacks in the future. Documents technical procedures and creates knowledge base articles for the support team when needed. Assist with deploying, integrating, and configuring new security solutions and any enhancements to existing security solutions per industry best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field to Information Technology from an accredited institution of higher education Advance experience in Security forensics experience 3 years of experience with Active Directory and or Azure AD Demonstrated experience with Firewall management. Demonstrated experience with Purview • Experience in Web development, scripting, or programming languages Experience with Microsoft on-premises and cloud security Experience working in or managing a SIEM. Experience with Network Management and network technologies Experience with managing and configuring software and hardware firewalls Experience with systems administration. Key Competencies Required Strong knowledge of information security threat hunting. Strong knowledge of Information Security Risk assessment and management Strong working knowledge of SIEM, NAC, firewall, IDS/IPS technologies, and application layer security controls. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain security documentation and manuals. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated ability to devise innovative security solutions/strategies to address unique requirements/situations. Proven ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with vendors, teammates, and customers.Benefits:
