Dell USA L.P. is seeking a Consultant, IT Architecture for our Round Rock, TX facility.
Duties:
Translate clients business requirements into specific systems, applications and/or process designs for custom technical solutions. Design, develop and implement total systems solutions to the enterprise-wide technical requirements of customers. Work with IT Architecture team to balance the needs of sales and delivery to design a solution that meets or exceeds the requirements of service delivery. Manage the design of multiple service areas or technologies within a broader service solution, as well as overall technical implementation for large and complex engagements. Responsible for a technical team in developing solutions to complex business problems. Participate in customer presentations at the senior executive level. Support research, discovery, planning and implementation efforts to improve business processes. Implement the information technology architecture and the total systems solutions to the enterprise-wide systems requirements of the customer.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science or related field plus 7 years of experience in a programmer analyst, technical lead, software developer, or related occupation. Alternatively, a Masters degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of experience in a programmer analyst, technical lead, software developer, or related occupation.
Experience must include:
Micro-service and cloud-native application development; Agile development methodologies; Java, Spring, SpringBoot, Angular6, and MicroFrontEnd; Oracle 12c, No SQL Db; cloud platforms such as PCF, AWS and Azure; IaaS, PaaS models; Architecture and design patterns on cloud platforms and cloud service offerings; Behavior driven development (BDD); Microservice monitoring, observability and health checks.
