Role:
Workday Absence, Time Tracking & Payroll Consultant Location:
San Antonio, TX, OR (Open for Remote)
Rate:
$45/hr on W2
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of Workday Payroll experience with strong hands-on configuration and implementation expertise.
• Workday Certified Consultant preferred/required, with expertise in Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules. We are seeking an experienced Workday Package Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, customization, and ongoing support of Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll solutions. The consultant will translate business requirements into effective Workday configurations aligned with organizational policies, payroll processes, and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include designing time tracking and absence processes, configuring payroll structures, supporting integrations, validating data, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. The consultant will conduct client workshops, requirements sessions, testing, knowledge-transfer and end-user training. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking , excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex HCM concepts clearly to technical and business stakeholders. Experience with post-go-live support, data validation, testing, and issue resolution is highly desirable.
