The AUKUS, Submarines, and Industrial Base Group (ASIG), within the Sea, Land, Air Division, provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to Director Submarine Program directorates and key stakeholders surrounding submarine platform construction. Director Submarine Program unifies submarine platform procurement activities, which includes the Columbia-class SSBN program (a Major Defense Acquisition Program and the Navy's top acquisition priority), the Virginia-class SSN program, the new SSN-X program (developing the next generation attack submarine), and the AUKUS Integration and Acquisition Office, to bring improved capabilities to our undersea forces. Analysts and Engineers supporting Director Submarine Program will continue SPA's decades of support to the SSBN force, as well as supporting oversight of cutting-edge attack submarine construction, assisting in developing the design requirements for the SSN platform of the future, and helping plan and execute new and innovative strategies to strengthen the critical submarine shipbuilding industrial base. These are high-profile, major acquisition and manufacturing programs of significant importance to the future capabilities of the US Navy in an era of renewed strategic competition. #FC #Dice Responsibilities SPA is seeking an outgoing, detail-oriented, self-starter to provide technical and programmatic support to the SSBN In-Service Program Office (PMS396). The Technical Program Analyst (TPA) will play a key role in supporting the Fleet and Technical Support APM within PMS 396, responsible for providing technical logistics guidance to the in-service submarine Fleet. Specifically, this role will act as the primary point of contact for coordination between Submarine Fleet stakeholders, the NAVSEA and SSP Program Offices, and the NAVSUP and DLA supply communities to resolve complex maintenance and material issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and resolve supply support impediments, including prioritizing contracting actions, coordinating with

DCMA/SIB

to improve supplier performance, and working with

ICP/ISEA

contacts for alternate material solutions.

Expand the Defense Industrial Base by developing new, reliable vendor partnerships for reverse engineering obsolete parts.

Lead end-to-end part lifecycle activities-part identification, technical data research, funding, contracting, manufacturing, testing, and vendor qualification-to deliver trusted components sustaining the Ohio Class Submarine.

Support identification of financial programming and resourcing needs for

PMS396L2

Division operations.

Coordinate with internal and external partners, acting as the main contact for urgent logistical inquiries and alignment of goals.

Analyze processes, implement enhancements, and deliver cost-effective logistical solutions. This position is eligible for 100% telework, but this is subject to client needs. No travel is expected with this position.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field

7+ years proven experience in logistics operations, within the Federal Supply System, including translating technical feedback into actionable procurement, repair, and inventory decisions

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics and supply chain processes

Ability to work effectively under pressure and navigate rapidly changing circumstances

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders

Knowledge to ensure alignment of technical decisions with DoW Supply System operations

Current DoD security clearance

  • minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment Desired Qualifications Working knowledge of various databases utilized tracking/monitoring and improving submarine maintenance including Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP), eCANNAB, the In-Service Submarine and Sustainment Reliability Portal (ISARP), the Naval Sea Logistics Center (NSLC) suite of tools, Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP), Submarine Maintenance Monitoring Information Systems (SMMIS), Haystack, and Onetouch
