Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities encompass the identification, evaluation, and reduction of safety risks in software systems through comprehensive analysis of design and code, unit testing, and thorough document review.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 0-2 years of experience in software development, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum Clearance Required to start: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of software development principles and engineering best practices.
• Proficient in at least two programming languages.
• Familiarity with SQL and /or relational database concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to support technical documentation and follow established engineering processes

Desired:

• Experience with one or more of the following programming languages - Ada, C++, Python.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Exposure to software safety, mission-critical systems, regulated environments, or defense/aerospace programs.
