Posted 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary Support the In-Service NDT team by authoring Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures, incorporating revisions authored by Level III methods experts, developing CAD drawings of specialized calibration standards, setting up NDT and measurement equipment to calibration standards, composing procedure figures with inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response, and reporting potential adverse trends or anomalous results. This role requires regular and predictable attendance and is non-managerial and non-leadership, with opportunities to work creatively, collaboratively, and transparently in a stable environment. Not Available Education & Job Requirements- Associate degree or equivalent and typically 20 years or more of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 20 years of experience in NDI/NDT.
- A minimum of 20 years of experience working in aerospace in-service support with ultrasonic testing (UT) and/or eddy current (ET).
- Experience writing UT & ED techniques and inspection procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred Skills
- 25+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing.
- 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
- Experience with CAD software. Job Duties & Functions
- Author Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
- Incorporate revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
- Develop CAD drawings of specialized calibration standards.
- Perform setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
- Compose procedure figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response.
