OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE
Medix is currently seeking an IT / Applications Analyst for an exciting career opportunity with one of our manufacturing clients located in Pleasant Prairie. Our client is a global manufacturing company that specializes in powertrain, structural, and chassis components for traditional and electrified vehicles, as well as Agricultural machinery. This role will be working onsite at the Pleasant Prairie manufacturing plant to provide daily support for the users, Desktop Systems, Network and IT Applications used throughout the organization. This role requires a blend of traditional IT Helpdesk / IT Infrastructure experience, with back-end application support. Some knowledge of SQL Databases and Programming Languages is required.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing on-site technical support for manufacturing floor workstations, operator terminals, Zebra barcode printers, 2D matrix scanners, and local PC/LAN equipment to minimize production downtime. Supporting Corporate Office and HR staff with any related hardware, software, and local workstation troubleshooting. Maintaining Desktop Infrastructure•including Citrix, VDI, Active Directory (Entra) and business applications Execute day-to-day technical tasks to integrate and migrate legacy local systems, data, and hardware assets into the global corporate infrastructure Providing operational Software Maintenance & Front-Line support Maintaining the web-based plant applications and databases used across production, quality, and HR departments Acting as the primary local escalation point for line-of-business software issues. Troubleshooting and supporting escalated technical issues. Perform corporate IT support tasks and system maintenance as requested by the broader IT department.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must be local to the Greater Milwaukee area and willing to work onsite in Pleasant Prairie Must have at least 3-5 years of Microsoft Server infrastructure (DND, DHCP, TCP/IP, Active Directory) Must have working knowledge of SQL syntax and data management skills Microsoft Certifications and/ or CompTIA Certifications are preferred. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript to help troubleshoot web applications Exceptional communication skills
