This is a high-impact, hands-on role focused on designing and developing intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling user interfaces. Your work will directly support mission-critical applications and operational systems in secure environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build modern front-end solutions that enhance user experience and system usability across enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Design and develop responsive, Section 508-compliant web interfaces and style guides Build mock-ups and prototypes to support intuitive user experiences Collaborate with users and technical teams to understand requirements and maintain design consistency Review user feedback and iterate designs to drive continuous improvement Develop and maintain UI style guides and design standards Guide and mentor team members while contributing to project delivery Ensure compliance with project management and release management standards Create proof-of-concepts using modern UI frameworks and visual design best practices Conduct usability testing and support user research efforts Develop and support front-end applications, including coding, testing, debugging, and implementation Required Qualifications Active Top Secret clearance 8+ years of UI/UX development experience Strong portfolio of responsive and accessible web applications Experience with modern front-end frameworks and UI/UX design tools Strong collaboration and communication skills Experience working in structured, team-based development environments Technical Environment React.js, Vue.js HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript UI/UX design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) Version control (Git) Modern front-end development and usability practices Work Environment Fully onsite at Redstone Arsenal (Huntsville, AL) Monday-Friday within standard core business hours Secure facility requiring strict adherence to security protocols Fast-paced, mission-focused development environment Direct collaboration with cross-functional engineering and design teams Why Join Kforce?
