Researches the behavior of internet users and consumers, compiles information about the target audience for a site, and develops website layout, design and technology features that improve accessibility and value for users.

Job Description

Job Description An Industrial Manufacturing company based in San Diego, CA is seeking a UX/UI Designer to join their team. The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive, efficient, accessible, and user-centered digital experiences for global Field Service operations. They will translate business needs and field-user insights into practical workflows, prototypes, interface specifications, and measurable experience improvements while serving as the user voice throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidates comes with a background in both web and mobile UI design, with experience working in the industrial, energy, or manufacturing industries preferred.   •  Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, Interaction or Graphic Design, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  •  5-10+ years' experience within UX/UI Research and Design for mobile and web-based applications
  •  Experience designing enterprise digital products and conducting user research, prototyping, and usability testing.
  •  Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent tools; strong knowledge of accessibility and responsive design.
  •  Agile delivery, facilitation, stakeholder communication, documentation, reporting, risk, and dependency management skills.
  •  Field Service, industrial operations, mobile workforce, design systems, global teams, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure DevOps, analytics, automation, or AI experience preferred.
  •  Experience in the Industrial, Energy, or Manufacturing industry preferred
