Targeting individuals residing in West Palm Beach and Jupiter, Florida Are you a designer who leads with craft and drives business impact? We are looking for a Principal Experience Designer to join Slalom as a senior design leader who shapes strategy, mentors teams, and delivers transformative digital experiences. As a Principal Product Designer, you will lead complex engagements, build deep client relationships, and help define the future of our practice at one of our most important accounts. You bring the creativity and craft of a seasoned designer, the strategic thinking to influence at the executive level, and the leadership presence to inspire teams and clients alike. Lead design strategy and execution on complex, enterprise-scale engagements across web, mobile, and emerging platforms You will be primarily an embedded Product Design leader, working onsite 2-3 days/week to build deep partnership and drive impact within a strategic client account Build and maintain senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on experience design and digital transformation Act as a consistent voice of the customer and advocate for strong design, ensuring user needs are represented across business, product, and technology decisions Identify and develop design opportunities or entry points to design work through collaboration between business offerings across capabilities Ability to adapt processes in a rapidly changing AI enabled world and create bespoke client tailored research and design processes Comfort with expanding teams through delivery and a unique ability to identify opportunities to grow our design footprint with our clients Advocate for and lead research-driven design, including ethnographic approaches that uncover deep customer insights Design, plan, and facilitate workshops, co-creation sessions, and design sprints to drive alignment and momentum A keen ability to extract or define a problem to be solved from clients and teams pulling on insights and business impact Craft compelling executive-level storytelling, translating insights and strategy into clear, persuasive presentations Mentor and develop designers across all levels, supporting their growth in craft, leadership, and client engagement Partner with product and engineering leaders in Agile delivery environments to ensure design excellence throughout execution Represent Experience Design in cross-capability teams, contributing to proposals, scoping, and solution design Embrace AI as a design tool, possesses a clear comprehension of the power of context engineering and how and when to use itQualifications:
8+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or experience design 5+ years of client-facing consulting or agency experience, with design ownership of complex, cross-functional programs A portfolio demonstrating art of the possible design concepts, systems-level thinking, design craft Ability to defend design decisions with your "why's" stemming from user insights, business needs and UXUI best practices Deep expertise in commonly used design tools, Adobe, Figma and design systems at scale Enthusiasm to improve process, especially with the emergence of AI Expert facilitator; you can run a requirements workshop, a design critique, or an executive alignment session with equal effectiveness Proven experience working in close partnership with product owners and engineering leads in Agile delivery environments Strong ability to translate client needs into actionable design strategy and execution Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving toward clarity for teams and clientsAbout Us:
