Senior Product Designer (AI Optimization)

Location:

Charlotte, NC (5 days on-site)

Duration:

Long term assignment, potential for extension/conversion Position Overview Join a high-impact, cross-functional initiative dedicated to maximizing digital visibility and brand presence across modern AI-driven search platforms and conversational AI engines. Operating within a specialized 14-person pod in close collaboration with internal teams and external agency partners, you will bridge user experience design, content strategy, and artificial intelligence optimization (AIO).

Primary Responsibilities Digital Experience Design:

Craft end-to-end digital experiences-from user flows and information architecture to interactive wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity final designs.

AI & Search Optimization:

Structure content hierarchy and page layouts to enhance AI discoverability, search engine optimization (SEO), user engagement, and conversion rates.

Data-Informed Strategy:

Translate user behavior metrics, customer insights, web analytics, and A/B test results into actionable UX solutions.

Balanced Execution:

Deliver accessible, intuitive digital touchpoints that align business objectives, marketing strategies, and technical constraints.

Technical Collaboration:

Partner with engineering and development teams during implementation to ensure design integrity, quality control, and platform consistency.

Required Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree required.

UX Expertise:

Proven track record in UX/UI, Product Design, or Experience Design with a strong portfolio showcasing visual design, information architecture, and digital product strategy.

Search & Content Integration:

Solid understanding of content strategy, customer journey mapping, performance optimization, SEO, and emerging AI search paradigms.

Design & CMS Tooling:

Hands-on proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager).

Delivery & Communication:

Experience working within Agile frameworks, navigating cross-functional team dynamics, and presenting designs effectively to key stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience with enterprise design systems, component libraries, and modular layout frameworks. Direct background working alongside digital marketing, customer acquisition, or specialized SEO/content teams. Hands-on experience with web analytics software such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics. Prior experience in financial services, healthcare, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
