- Contract Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify Web Builder.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Shopify online stores to deliver exceptional user experiences and drive sales growth. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities, creating visually appealing and highly functional e-commerce platforms. Responsibilities Develop and customize Shopify stores using best practices in web development and design principles. Implement responsive web design techniques to ensure optimal performance across all devices. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to wireframe and translate visual concepts into fully functional online storefronts. Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and payment gateways to enhance store capabilities. Optimize site performance through code refinement, SEO strategies, and efficient database management using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite. Conduct thorough testing including unit tests, cross-browser compatibility checks, and performance assessments to guarantee a smooth shopping experience. Utilize cloud services such as AWS for hosting solutions and ensure system architecture aligns with scalable e-commerce needs. Monitor analytics data visualization tools to analyze user flows and improve UX based on insights. Stay updated with the latest trends in web development, SEO best practices, and e-commerce innovations. Requirements Proven experience building and customizing Shopify stores with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work on various projects. Proficiency in front-end technologies including
HTML, CSS
(SCSS), JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and Vue.js frameworks. Solid understanding of back-end development using PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Node.js; familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL is essential. Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server or SQLite; knowledge of data visualization techniques is a plus. Familiarity with system architecture principles including DevOps practices like Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Azure or AWS cloud platforms. Strong grasp of web services including
