About the Opportunity We are seeking a Research Intern to support the Customer Experience team at a New York regional not-for-profit health plan. This role is responsible for supporting ongoing customer, provider, and other stakeholder research efforts that inform experience strategy, product improvements, and service design across multiple lines of business (including Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial). The Research Intern will partner closely with senior researchers, CX strategists, and business leaders to manage quantitative and qualitative methodologies (especially survey) and support our growing Voice of the Customer program. This role is ideal for an early‑career researcher who is passionate about improving healthcare experiences, interested in developing their skills with AI tools, and eager to explore how customer insights can be used to drive business decisions and make meaningful customer experience improvements. Qualifications you'll bring: Education, Licensures, & Certifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX, Marketing, Business, Psychology, Data Science, or a related field Years of Experience (Required & Preferred) Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Required Job Skills Foundational understanding of UX and/or CX research methods, including surveys, interviews, usability testing, and qualitative synthesis Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Ability to clearly communicate insights through storytelling, presentations, and visualizations Comfort working with data and learning new tools or platforms Strong collaboration skills in a cross‑functional and remote environment Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance in a fast‑paced environment Interest in healthcare, member experience, and service improvement Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth Humility to play as a team Commitment to being the difference for our customers in every interaction Your key responsibilities: Support lead researchers with the execution of customer and user research studies, including: Survey design, data cleaning, analysis, and reporting Help synthesize data from feedback programs into clear, actionable insights Maintain and contribute to a centralized repository of research insights, visual assets, and best practices Create engaging data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that translate complex findings into clear narratives for business and experience leaders Support ongoing experience measurement programs (e.g., CSAT, NPS, CX tracking) and help identify trends and opportunities Explore and evaluate emerging AI‑enabled research tools, to improve research efficiency and insight generation Participate in specific Intern projects and activities with other interns in the summer program Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise, reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer. Hybrid Pay Transparency MVP Health Care is committed to providing competitive employee compensation and benefits packages. The base pay range provided for this role reflects our good faith compensation estimate at the time of posting. MVP adheres to pay transparency nondiscrimination principles. Pay Rate:
