IT - UX Developer#26-11643 Portsmouth, NH All On-site Job Description Description Become part of the Enterprise Experience (XD) Design team. Have you ever wondered what it takes to enable thousands of employees in a large enterprise to effectively do their jobs? That's exactly what the Enterprise Experience organization focuses on daily. The XD team supports the entire organization (legal, talent, finance, data, investments and technology) to create and deliver world-class products and tools for their employees.
Job introduction:
The Experience Design and Research team is looking to hire a Senior UX Developer with front-end development skills to join their team. The candidate will be touching code on a daily basis and primarily focused on enterprise experiences that empower our employees. This is a hybrid role where you will create user-centered design solutions for the employee experiences that focus on ease of use, employ best-in-class visual and interaction design, user research, and optimize the overall user experience. You will also be able to build coded prototypes in React/TypeScript to validate concepts with users and stakeholders, using Claude and GPT or other AI tools to accelerate ideation, prototype scaffolding, code refactoring, documentation drafts, and token transformation—with appropriate human review. You'll partner closely with designers in Figma to translate patterns into reusable components and design tokens. You'll also produce and maintain Markdown-based documentation, instructional guides, and "skill files," including prompt recipes, reusable LLM workflows, and component usage guidance. This role will work with Product & Information Technology to ensure the functionality of our products meets our users' needs. In this role the candidate will work with business, technical, and product leads to understand the business vision, objectives and transformation plans to help identify opportunities for competitive advantage. The Senior UX Developer will collaborate with other members of the Experience Design team including other designers, researchers, and content designers . Must Have Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience coordinating or managing small to medium size projects.
  • 5+ years experience as a UX Engineer / Front-end Developer / Design Technologist shipping UI or high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Proven ability to build coded prototypes (portfolio required).

  • Production experience with React (or similar framework) and modern component patterns.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Basic understanding of design principles, visual design, white space, font treatments, information architecture, grid systems.
  • Proven experience working from Figma and collaborating closely with product owners, engineers and other product designers.
  • Demonstrated experience tokenizing design systems (creating/maintaining tokens, mapping to components, supporting theming/modes).
  • Experience creating Markdown documentation for UI patterns, components, or internal enablement.
  • Experience using Claude (or comparable LLM tools) as part of a design/development workflow, including prompt practices and human-in-the-loop review.
  • Solid accessibility foundations (WCAG/ARIA) and performance-minded UI development.
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting work to senior stakeholders. Nice-To-Have
