- About the Role We are seeking a talented Senior Motion Designer to create engaging motion experiences that enhance digital products across multiple platforms.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality motion design assets including UI animations, transitions, interaction feedback, illustrations, and digital content.
- Create, document, and maintain scalable motion systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across products and experiences.
- Partner with product designers and engineers to define motion behavior for new features and user interactions.
- Prototype and communicate motion concepts using industry-standard design and prototyping tools.
- Advocate for motion design best practices while balancing creativity, accessibility, performance, and technical considerations.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Support marketing and brand initiatives through motion graphics and video content when needed.
- Contribute to the evolution of motion design standards and processes across the organization.
- Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation, interaction design, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency with motion design and animation tools such as After Effects, Cinema 4D, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong portfolio showcasing motion systems, UI animation, interaction design, and visual storytelling.
- Experience contributing to or working within established design systems.
- Ability to simplify complex interactions through clear, intuitive motion design.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver production-ready motion experiences.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with prototyping tools such as Origami, Principle, Rive, Lottie, Framer, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with code-based animation concepts including CSS, JavaScript, Swift, Kotlin, or related technologies.
- Background in product design, interaction design, or user experience design.
- Experience designing accessible experiences, including reduced-motion considerations.
- Understanding of mobile performance optimization and animation best practices.
- Experience working on large-scale consumer digital products.
