A User Interface or User Experience (UI / UX) Developer is responsible for developing the code that governs the overall user experience of a website or application, from individual processes within the product, to the overall user journey. Ensuring that the end product creates an intuitive and effective experience for the end user. This may include testing, interaction design, obtaining user stories.
Seeking a highly experienced UI Engineer to build polished, high-performing consumer experiences across web and TV applications. This person will partner closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and Data Science to develop and ship scalable product features and experiments.
Responsibilities:
Build and ship consumer-facing web and TV experiences. Develop product features and A/B tests. Create maintainable, performant, and accessible UI code. Build automated tests, from unit testing through end-to-end UI automation. Collaborate across Product, Design, Engineering, and Data Science.
Required Skills:
Must have experience within enterprise-scale tech, streaming, marketplace, or subscription-based consumer platforms. 10+ years of professional software engineering/UI development experience and expert-level JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. Strong GraphQL experience. Experience with A/B testing/product experimentation. Experience building high-scale, consumer-facing applications. Strong automated testing experience, including React Testing Library. TV/connected-device application development experience is a plus.
