Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)
Duration:
12 months Role OverviewThis position is for a UI/Full Stack focused Full Stack Developer Lead. The role involves designing, building, and implementing integrations, microservices, and UI components. The successful candidate will ensure code quality, deploy services in containerized environments, and collaborate with various teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build integrations using Spring Boot, Spring Integration DSL, messaging channels, transformers, gateways, and routing patterns.
Implement microservices, REST APIs, and Spring Batch data ingestion solutions.
Develop UI screens and components using React.
Develop reusable integration components, standardized templates, and libraries.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and automated CI pipelines.
Design and deploy Spring Boot services in containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
Work with DevOps teams to ensure proper CI/CD integration and deployment automation.
Optimize containerized workloads for scalability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business analysts to create technical solutions.
Participate in design discussions, architectural reviews, and influence integration strategies.
Required QualificationsExperience:
12+ years of overall experience.5+ years of React or Angular UI development experience.3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.3+ years of Spring Integration experience (channels, filters, routers, aggregators, transformers, etc.).Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and GitHub.
Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Log4J and Splunk.
Experience with API gateway frameworks such as Spring Cloud Gateway or APIM.Experience with distributed tracing and observability frameworks.
Technical Skills:
Expertise with Docker, container image management, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
Strong Java development skills with a focus on scalable and testable code.
Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, Spring Test, WireMock, and TestContainers.
Proficient use of GitHub Co-Pilot and other AI tools to generate code.
Primary Skill:
ReactJS.
Secondary Skill:
Angular.
Tertiary Skill:
Spring boot.
Preferred QualificationsAbility to collaborate with architecture teams and contribute to technical decisions.
Ability to work independently or with low supervision.
Willingness to contribute to test automation for end-to-end automated testing.
