SAP Labs, LLC seeks a User Experience Design Specialist at our Newport Beach, CA location to translate business requirements and user insights into user flows, journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction patterns.Expectations and Tasks:
Create and test low to high fidelity designs with end users, iterating based on feedback. Design intuitive experiences for financial workflows including pricing, promotions, trade spend, and revenue growth management. Partner with engineering teams to ensure accurate, high quality implementation of design solutions. Collaborate with front end developers, considering feasibility across HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular. Contribute to design systems, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency across products. Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to inform design strategy. Synthesize research into actionable insights, journeys, personas, and clear recommendations. Work cross functionally with product, engineering, and stakeholders to align on user centered solutions. Integrate design and research into product planning, backlog prioritization, and roadmap delivery.Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Engineering, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must include two (2) years involving each of the following: Creating high-fidelity and low-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes while applying the required domain knowledge; Mapping user journeys, end-to-end workflows, service blueprints, and system processes; Conducting qualitative and quantitative user research, analyzing data to identify patterns and insights, and synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations; Defining user to guide product decisions and experience design; Writing code in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular; and Utilizing design and research tools including Figma, FigJam, Dovetail, Respondent, UserTesting, and Mural, and product and delivery tools including Jira and Aha! Experience must include one (1) year involving each of the following: Designing workflows and user experiences in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry to support complex financial decision-making; Preparing detailed design specifications, and documentation utilizing Figma Design tool; Organizing and facilitating design workshops for internal and customer facing participants; and Designing solution portfolios that integrate SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and CX Sales Cloud with Retail Execution and earlier ERP systems including SAP ECC.Travel:
