Job Description

Job Summary Our client, a leading airline industry provider, is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join their Digital Customer Experience team. Native mobile research experience is preferred. In this role, you will work with a cross-functional Agile team to define user stories and UX deliverables, conduct qualitative and quantitative research to uncover product insights, and advocate for the user in close partnership with Product Owners, Product Designers, and business stakeholders. Core Responsibilities Create research strategies based on project KPIs, developing usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios; regularly formulate and test hypotheses during design iterations Conduct qualitative UX research using methods such as moderated usability tests, heuristic evaluations, user interviews, contextual inquiries, and competitive analyses Perform quantitative UX research leveraging surveys, clickstream analysis, eye-tracking studies, card sorting, tree testing, and unmoderated usability tests Design, recruit/schedule, and moderate usability studies and user interviews, effectively presenting actionable insights to product teams Use analytical tools such as Adobe Analytics or Quantum Metric to gather data insights that supplement portfolio research strategies Create, update, and advocate for personas, customer journey maps, and service blueprints to keep product teams organized and customer-centric Contribute research strategies that help define and work toward product portfolio objectives and key results (OKRs), and support scaling UX research through Research Ops Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Bachelors degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, or a related discipline 3+ years of experience as a UX practitioner with a background in user experience design, interaction design, or similar Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, with experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods Experience and understanding of SPSS, R, SQL, database queries, or basic programming languages Knowledge and proficiency using remote unmoderated testing tools and moderated testing devices/platforms Experience working closely with developers from inception through implementation in an Agile environment Advanced analytical skills for complex data problems and sustainable solutions Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Masters degree in a related discipline 5+ years of experience as a UX practitioner Native iOS & Android research/design experience Experience owning and creating research strategies aligned to product OKRs Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate across disciplines and product lines Portfolio and LinkedIn profile included with resume Key Competencies & Behaviors Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Ability to present work in a clear, compelling manner, explaining recommendations by citing best practices, research data, or business requirements Comfortable working in a self-guided Agile environment across multiple initiatives and ceremonies Proven ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, product lines, roles, and time zones Proactive mindset, reviewing customer feedback and quantitative UX metrics to identify areas of focus

The approximate pay range for this position is between $44.00 and $64.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
