A User Interface or User Experience (UI / UX) Designer assists with technology design to make products easier for people to use. Determines user preferences and assesses the process that users follow to access product functions; develops and tests new design models, and incorporates findings in to improved product design. Researches the behavior of internet users and consumers, compiles information about the target audience for a site, and develops website layout, design and technology features that improve accessibility and value for users.
This role will bridge data, strategy, and storytelling to drive informed business decision-making. Transform complex data and analytical findings into clear, executive-ready insights and compelling visual narratives. Design executive-level presentations that translate analytics and business information into actionable recommendations. Partner with developers, analysts, designers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate information effectively. Develop presentations and visual materials using Microsoft PowerPoint and other design and collaboration tools. Organize and manage content and project materials using SharePoint. Apply UX and visual design principles to improve the clarity, usability, and effectiveness of presentations and other deliverables. Translate complex or highly technical information into concise, easily understood content for executive audiences. Work independently to manage assignments and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines. Support rapid-turnaround requests while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed. Navigate challenging situations professionally and receive candid feedback constructively. Evaluate deliverables and incorporate stakeholder feedback to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of work. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in UX design, visual design, data visualization, presentation design, or a related field. 5+ years of experience translating complex data or business information into executive-ready insights and visual narratives. 5+ years of experience developing executive-level presentations that translate analytics into actionable information. Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience with SharePoint. Knowledge of HTML. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CSS, and other design tools is preferred. Strong understanding of visual storytelling, information design, and presentation development. Ability to bridge data, business strategy, and storytelling to effectively communicate complex concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to quickly respond to time-sensitive requests and meet aggressive deadlines. Comfortable receiving and incorporating direct and candid feedback. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work early or stay late when business needs require. Bachelor's degree in graphic design, a computer-related field, or a related discipline preferred; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of education. Must be able to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.
