Southlake , TX ( 1-2 days from office in a week) Senior Frontend/UI Engineer with Strong AI/GenAI experience.
RAte :
$55 58 W2 or 65 68 C2C 10+ years exp
JD :
We are seeking a highly skilled UI Engineer with strong frontend expertise (70%) and Python + AI/GenAI capabilities (30%) to build next-generation intelligent applications. The ideal candidate should not only develop high-performance UI applications but also effectively integrate LLM-based capabilities (Claude, LangChain) and contribute from a system architecture perspective. This role requires a blend of modern UI engineering, AI integration, and architectural thinking to design scalable, intelligent, and user-centric platforms. Key Responsibilities 1. UI Development
  • Design and develop responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using modern frameworks
  • Build rich UI experiences using: o React.js, Next.js, Vue.js o TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Develop reusable UI components and frontend architectures
  • Optimize UI performance, rendering, and responsiveness across devices and browsers
  • Integrate UI applications with backend services and REST APIs
  • Work closely with UX, backend, and platform teams for end-to-end delivery
  • Implement best practices in: o State management (Redux/Context) o Component design patterns o Accessibility and security
  • 2. Python & AI/GenAI Integration
  • Develop backend services and AI integration using Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask)
  • Build and integrate LLM-powered features into UI applications
  • Work with: o LangChain / LLM orchestration frameworks o Claude (Code SDK / APIs) for intelligent workflows
Implement:
o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) o Prompt engineering and optimization o AI-based automation and assistant features
  • Integrate AI services with frontend workflows for real-time interaction
  • 3. System Architecture & Design
  • Act with a system architect mindset, contributing to: o End-to-end solution design across UI, backend, and AI components o Scalable and modular application architectures o API design and integration strategies
  • Design intelligent user journeys leveraging AI capabilities
  • Evaluate trade-offs for performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for architecture decisions
  • Required Skills & Qualifications Frontend (Mandatory)
  • Strong expertise in: o React.js, Next.js, Vue.js o TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience in building enterprise-grade UI applications
  • Solid understanding of UI architecture and performance optimization
  • Backend & AI (Mandatory)
  • Strong programming experience in Python
  • Hands-on experience with: o LangChain or similar LLM frameworks o Claude APIs / Code SDK (or other LLM integrations)
  • Experience integrating LLMs into applications and building intelligent agents
  • Architecture & Design
  • Ability to think and design like a solution/system architect
  • Experience with: o API-driven architectures o Microservices / cloud-native designs o AI-driven application workflows
  • Additional Technical Skills
  • REST APIs, JSON, API integration
Knowledge of:
o Node.js / Express (nice to have) o Docker, Kubernetes (preferred) o CI/CD pipelines and Git
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience in agentic AI systems, multi-agent orchestration, or RAG pipelines
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Familiarity with platform integration and enterprise systems
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills
  • Experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in UI / Full Stack development
  • Proven experience working on modern frontend frameworks and AI-enabled applications
