Job Description

The e2i program is seeking a UI/UX Design Project Team Member to design intuitive, accessible, and user-centered digital products. In this role, you will work within an interdisciplinary team to transform project requirements into wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, high-fidelity visual interfaces, and production ready designs. Conduct user research, define user personas, and create user journey maps/flows. Design low- to high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. Establish or maintain scalable Design Systems, component libraries, and UI style guides. Plan and conduct usability tests, using feedback to iterate on design solutions. Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and clients to ensure design feasibility and smooth developer handoff. Apply web accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices across desktop and mobile interfaces. Manage design deliverables, balance project priorities, and meet key deadline milestones. Must be a current UVU student, preferably in Web Design & Development, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines. Experience with primary UI/UX design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch). Understanding of user-centered design (UCD) methodology, design systems, and visual communication. Basic understanding of front-end capabilities (HTML/CSS) and responsive frameworks is a plus.
