The role focuses on integrating with Navy enterprise systems, legacy applications, and modern web services to deliver measurable time savings and data-quality improvements for Sailors and Navy civilians. Key Responsibilities
- Elicit and refine automation requirements with Navy process owners and CACI business analysts; translate PDDs into technical solution designs (SDDs).
- Develop attended and unattended automations in UiPath Studio using the Robotic Enterprise Framework (REFramework) and reusable component libraries.
- Integrate with a wide range of applications, including SAP, web portals, mainframe/terminal emulators, Microsoft 365, and
REST/SOAP
APIs.- Deploy, schedule, and monitor bots via UiPath Orchestrator; manage assets, queues, and credentials with least-privilege access.
- Apply IDP capabilities (UiPath Document Understanding, AI Center) to process forms, PDFs, and scanned maintenance documents.
- Build unit tests and support UAT; produce runbooks and support artifacts for handoff to operations.
- Contribute to the CoE — coding standards, reusable snippets, environment governance, and lessons learned.
- Ensure automations are documented and delivered in accordance with DoD security and change-control requirements. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with 3+ years focused on UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Robots).
- Deep working knowledge of the UiPath REFramework and best practices for exception handling, logging, and configuration.
- Strong .NET/VB.NET or C# scripting inside UiPath; comfort with regex, LINQ, and data-table manipulation.
- Experience integrating automations with Microsoft 365, SAP, Oracle, mainframe/terminal emulators, and
REST/SOAP
APIs.- Proficiency with source control (Git), CI/CD concepts, and structured release management for RPA assets.
- Working knowledge of UiPath Document Understanding or comparable IDP tooling.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation (PDD, SDD, test scripts, runbooks).
- Active DoD Secret clearance at time of hire. Preferred Qualifications
- Prior UiPath delivery on Navy, NAVSEA, or other DoD programs.
- Experience with UiPath Automation Cloud, Test Suite, Apps, or Process Mining.
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere for tool-selection conversations.
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven automation (LLM integration, generative activities).
- TS/SCI clearance. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Additional relevant experience may be substituted for the degree in accordance with contract labor-category definitions. Certifications Required
- DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE) — required within 6 months of hire if not currently held.
- UiPath Certified Professional Developer - Advanced (UiARD) or equivalent current UiPath developer certification. Preferred
- UiPath Certified Professional Automation Solution Architect
- UiPath Certified Professional Automation Business Analyst
