Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of visual design experience in product design or UX/UI design. Experience in data visualization and translating data into stories. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience incorporating generative AI, large language model (LLM) APIs, and agentic workflows into user experiences. Experience in using data to tell compelling stories through interactive media. Experience applying frameworks to align design outcomes with organizational goals and performance standards. Familiarity with technical prototyping (e.g., HTML/CSS/JS) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams. About the job At Google, we "Focus on the user and all else will follow."
