13 paid days per year Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in product design or UX. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
Experience designing simple interfaces for AI agents or predictive automation tools. Expert in complex interaction design and enterprise SaaS architectures. Expert in classic Design tools and fluency in using AI design toolings and workflows. Proven track record of defining "North Star" design visions in ambiguous spaces. Excellence in presenting complex data, metrics, and logs clearly. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executives. From creating user flows and wireframes to building mockups and prototypes, you will envision and bring product experiences to life with an inspired, refined, and magical feel. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, leveraging user insights to create industry-leading products. As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products. You will drive the strategic design goal for Google Cloud's next-generation Autonomous Networking and Agentic AI initiatives. Navigating high levels of ambiguity, you will lead the transition from manual, tool-centric network management to goal-oriented, autonomous user experiences. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional (xfn) partners and executive leadership to embed forward-looking AI concepts into the customer-facing product roadmap, ensuring Cloud Networking remains at the forefront of cloud infrastructure innovation. Responsibilities Define and advocate long-term user experience and product strategy for Cloud Networking's AI and autonomous initiatives. Develop elegant solutions for ambiguous greenfield projects (e.g., agentic analytics, network monitoring) that lack clear precedents. Collaborate proactively with Engineering and Product Management leadership (up to Director/VP level) to embed UX perspective into the product roadmap.
