A User Interface or User Experience (UI / UX) Designer assists with technology design to make products easier for people to use. Determines user preferences and assesses the process that users follow to access product functions; develops and tests new design models, and incorporates findings in to improved product design. Researches the behavior of internet users and consumers, compiles information about the target audience for a site, and develops website layout, design and technology features that improve accessibility and value for users.

Problem-solving techniques, with a focus on human-centered design thinking Processes involved in crafting successful design sprints Information architecture, user and task flow diagrams, and interaction modeling techniques How to use and maintain design systems, and establishing clear visual brand language across ecosystem of software products Develop an understanding of how to conduct user research and contextual interviews Who we want: Problem solvers. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field. Foundational skills in digital prototyping, creative problem solving, and ux/ui workflows. Bonus points if experienced in user research! Proficiency with Figma, AI plugins or software, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools preferred. A portfolio demonstrating clear process and rationale, design thinking, and intentional choices that stemmed from an openness to feedback. $20 min hourly wage - $35 max hourly wage, sign-on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
