Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client in Waukesha, WI that is looking for a Front-End Developer with strong Optimizely experience to help build and enhance customer-facing digital experiences.Summary:
You will work closely with Web and eCommerce stakeholders, designers, and engineering partners to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-performing experiences within an Optimizely-based website.Duties Include:
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, performant, accessible web interfaces within Optimizely templates and components
- Build and maintain reusable frontend components (blocks, templates, UI patterns) aligned to Optimizely content rendering and templating systems
- Collaborate with backend/full stack developers to integrate frontend experiences with CMS content, APIs, and data services
- Implement interactive experiences using modern JavaScript patterns and frameworks (as applicable)
- Perform cross-browser/device testing and ensure standards for accessibility and quality are met
- Support CMS content editors by enabling practical templates/components that meet business needs
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience delivering websites on Optimizely/Episerver (hands-on, production environments)
- Strong frontend fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern responsive UI development
- Experience implementing component-driven UI from design files with attention to detail (-pixel-perfect- delivery)
- Experience integrating UI with APIs and data (REST/JSON) in a CMS-driven environment
- Ability to collaborate well with others and communicate clearly across engineering and business partners Preferred (nice to have):
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React or similar)
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices
- Experience working in agile product teams with consistent ceremonies/standups
- Exposure to Optimizely CMS 12+ patterns (templates, blocks, components) and collaborating with .
