Game Guide at Escape Room

Quicksand Escape Games is looking for Game Guides! www.quicksandescape.com Game Guides are responsible for creating an exciting and fun experience for customers. Game Guides are there to guide the customers through the Quicksand experience from start to finish by helping to explain, facilitate and monitor our games.

Responsibilities:

A Game Guide will greet teams, explain rules, answer questions, monitor games, give hints/help throughout the hour, and reset the escape rooms. A Game Guide is adept at understanding customers' needs.

A SINGLE GAME INCLUDES

Greet guests and introduce game rules/scenarios (~15 min) Watch game at a computer and type hints to players (~60 min) Answer any questions post game (~5 min) Reset and clean game room (~20 min) Game Guides must: Be able to run back to back games with quick turnaround Be energized by conversation and personal interaction (talking to customers and helping them enjoy themselves) Have attention to detail and learn quickly (resetting the rooms requires memorization and efficiency) Effectively organize and guide groups of 8+ (commanding the attention of large groups)

Requirements:

Must be available on Saturdays and either Friday or Sunday, as well as one weekday. Be available 15-20 (up to 30) hours per week.

• Ability to contribute to marketing, social media, game repairs, room construction, etc. is a plus
