Escapology Denver Pay:
$19.30/hour + tips
Hours:
Part-time (10-20 hours/week) About the Role Do you enjoy puzzles, fast-paced environments, and staying hands-on throughout your shift? Escapology Denver is looking for reliable, detail-oriented Game Masters who can deliver a great guest experience while also maintaining and resetting our game rooms to a high standard. This is not just a "watch people play games" role — it's an active position that requires problem-solving, room upkeep, and strong teamwork. What You'll Do As a Game Master, you'll be responsible for both guest experience AND game room operations, including:
  • Greeting and checking in guests with energy and professionalism
  • Explaining game rules clearly and confidently to groups
  • Monitoring games and providing hints using our software tools
  • Troubleshooting puzzles and using tools when games need assistance
  • Resetting rooms quickly, accurately, and consistently between bookings
  • Cleaning and maintaining game rooms and common areas throughout your shift
  • Completing post-game tasks (photos, reports, game data)
  • Assisting with bookings, waivers, and point-of-sale transactions
  • Selling merchandise, drinks, and snacks
  • Supporting opening and closing procedures Important Expectations This role requires team members who are comfortable with:
  • Following reset checklists and using tools to fix or adjust puzzles
  • Cleaning game rooms, props, and shared spaces regularly
  • Being on your feet and moving quickly between tasks
  • Paying close attention to detail. Small mistakes can impact the guest experience
  • Taking initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do If you're looking for a role where you can mostly observe or "just host," this may not be the right fit.
  • What We're Looking For
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and leading briefings
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Willing to learn and memorize game flow and puzzle systems
  • Comfortable with basic technology and game software
  • Previous hospitality, retail, or entertainment experience is a plus Schedule
  • Day, evening, and weekend availability required
