As a local, minority-owned business located on vibrant Madison Street in Forest Park, we pride ourselves on creating unforgettable adventures for guests from near and far. We are currently hiring Part-Time Game Masters to join our team. This role is perfect for energetic, responsible, and outgoing individuals who enjoy working with people and thrive in a fast-paced, interactive environment. No two days will be the same as you will interact with people from all walks of life; from tourists looking for a memorable experience, to families looking to share quality time together, and even further to corporate groups seeking team building exercises. An ideal candidate must have great customer service skills, exceptional problem solving capabilities, and an acute attention to detail . You will be challenged to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment. This is a highly competitive position with potential for growth.
Requirements:
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays except Thanksgiving & Christmas (Saturday availability required) Must be available year-round (not a seasonal position) Friendly, professional personality Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable interacting with children and families Strong attention to detail Basic computer skills (ability to type quickly and accurately without needing to stare at the keyboard) Reliable transportation
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide a welcoming and professional guest experience Assist with customer check-in and payment processing Clearly explain game rules and storylines As a Game Master, you will facilitate a one-hour "show". During the management of this experience, you would set up the "stage", communicate hints to customers/players, provide ambiance, facilitate and guide customers through the game, and debrief players after the experience. Reset rooms quickly with great attention to detail. Provide explanations and tours to potential customers seeking information. Perform minor repairs of props and games when necessary Support fellow team members as needed Assist with general cleaning and upkeep Extra responsibilities as needed. Important Scheduling Note This role is largely on-demand and weekend-heavy . Shifts may vary week to week depending on reservations and customer demand. Because of this, applicants should live relatively close to our Forest Park location and be able to arrive promptly and on time for scheduled reservations.
