Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Job Description:

The incumbent will teach Game Design for beginners using UNITY. The level of programming languages such as C# and/or, C++, Python languages are essential. The successful candidate will teach the importance of game ethics, strategy, design, Adobe Creative Suite along with basic knowledge of 2D and 3D animation using Animate, Blender and/or Maya Technologies.

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of a Master's degree and 1 year of experience in interactive media is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of 3 years of experience in interactive media is strongly preferred.

Additional Information:

HOURLY RATE OF PAY

$93.84 per hour. No benefits.
